Ok, now I've done it. Today I tried to remove the factory radio to install an ipod adaptor in the back after watching a youtube tutorial with no luck. Worse still, now my cel light is on. Basically, I removed the side plastic trim lining along the sides and I put a thin pointed prod in the holes covered by the trim, to wriggle it free. Don't know what I did, but now the radio doesn't work (absolutely no power is going to it) and the cel light is on. I also noticed my trip mileage in the odometer reset to 0, but the car runs fine. So now, what the f*** did I do? Any advice will be appreciated and if you want to scold me for this, I don't blame you.

Did this to mine last week try 10amp fuse in footwell fuse box, called room fuse its the raised one.

Checked the fuses, sure enough, it was blown. Now for the next question how do you remove that damn radio, and how the hell did I blow a fuse trying to remove it. Anyway, Mr Rob H, I owe you a pint.

easiest way.

Radio keys are the easiest i removed mine by putting thin screwdrivers in the holes not the very top one though and give it a good tug to the left or right one side will come out. then try the other side. then disconnect the plug and radio ariel.

i used paint brushes if they are the small circular holes?
i have quite a few radio keys but none of the circular ones...
and i do quite a few radio swaps and installs for friends, family and people at the pub
