So could anyone tell me which KandN airfilter goes on the V6? (Induction kit not just a filter). Or does the 57i kit for 1.5 fit for the V6?

Shipping anywhere in europe isn't expensive, it's auto calculated, but should be reasonable.

apart from sounding much better, is there any data to support better airflow through this over standard filters?

No data as such, but an excellent response from those who have fitted my kits is good enough for me.

worth every penny lads. if you already have your resonater box removed there aint much diffrence but if you still have it fitted then fitting this kit will make a noticeable difference, espically pullin out of junctions.

I can recommend the Rocspeed induction kit for the V6 as I have one myself, fantastic bit of kit. Much more responsive through the revs and sounds so much better than the normal air box with the restrictive resonator. Get yourself one, you wont be disapointed!

I've ordered the Rocspeed induction kit from Ford Probe store and i'm waiting for it arrive any day now. I already removed the original air filter box but there is a part that i can't find from the pictures above and i have no idea where i should connect it with the new kit.

The part code is K5T44094 and K5T44093 and i found a topic about it at http://forums.mazdaworld.org/94-classif ... 44094.html . It looks like an important part of the air intake system. Couple of wires attached into it and a small hollow tube going into the original air filter box. It is bolted into the original air box aswell.

Any ideas where i should connect this with the Rocspeed induction kit? Specs for the car: Mazda 323F 2.0 V6 -95.

Put a sticky pad on it and attach it to the side of your battery, thats what ive done, job done

How about the small (air?) tube that goes into the original box, is that important?

It didnt go into the air box on my V6, dont worry about it, its fine

Originally it's plumbed into your intake so that it sucks in filtered air. It won't hurt to just stick it somewhere (like on the side of the battery tray as DMS suggested)

You appear to have another large inlet on your induction piping though...I'm not sure where that's meant to go? I don't think the induction kit has this hole...check the picture of DMS engine bay compared to yours.

You've removed the MAF sensor too - you will need this, so don't get rid of it

The other inlet in the piping is weird indeed. It has a pipe (taken out in the picture) that is closed at the other end. Its about 50 cm long with a curve and goes down from the intake system to the lower part of the engine bay. No idea what it is for. Anyway, that part of the inlet system will be removed when i install the Rocspeed one. And yes, the sensor is waiting to be installed aswell.

_stuz_ intakes the same where as mine was a straight bit of pipe with only the oil breather installed??

I think the extra pipe you have there will be a very early pre-ford thing. If the pipe doesn't go anywhere, it's a resonator to help reduce induction sound

Yep spot of huggles, I too have another small rubber pip going INTO the airbox I will get a picture.

I'm pretty sure it will be fine dangling around next to the rest of the bits though.
