Will an Automatic KLZE be an easy transfer to a manual KLZE ?

Am pretty sure its the same engine just different box ... does anbody know if this is true ... i.e. 100% true

I dont want to spend money on one if the manual box from my 2.0 V6 doesnt fit ;)

Can't see any reason why they'd be different. I hope there can't be any different as my 'new' engine is from an auto!

Found this the other day, might not answer your question about the auto gearbox but made for good reading. Also its for the MX3 but I thought the principles would be the same with doing an engine swap in an F..

http://www.atlantamx3.com/mocaforum/vie ... 8bf5c7d4b5

Theres also a BPT swap guide and a KLZE journal in the forum. :thumbright:

Oh, I was told that I'd need to swap sumps between the auto and manual.

Thats ok cos I would have a spare 2.0 manual engine anyway ;)

But I cant see why ?? unless the sump is different shape due to the different size of the Auto and manual box ?
