Hi everyone.
Had no idea something like this existed. Found this page while looking for Estoril badges for my Mazda.
I have a 1997 metallic blue estoril & his name is Cephei.
May sound insane but my car is more than a car, he has a personality & I love him. As soon as I passed my test I bought him. Had my eye on him for a while & my mechanic sold him to me.
Has a lot of scrapes & battle scars but I take good care of him.

Love there is a place where everyone can talk about & love their Mazda 323’s :)

Does anyone know where I may be able to find new Estoril side badges?
Someone stole one & the other one is so scuffed it’s unreal.
Literally can’t believe someone stole my badge :(

Welcome to the club :thumbleft:

You don't sound insane at all, you sound like most of us

Estorial badges might be tricky to find, unless you can find someone breaking an estoril blue BA to pinch them off!

EDIT: Or if you're clever, remove the one remaining one and scan it, then get two new ones 3D printed 8)

No, it doesn't sound insane ... my cars are called Butch and Sundance (and I've had Sundance for 20 years)

Welcome to the club. If you're in UK, bring Cephei along to a show!

Don't worry, you are just like most of us on here...
Yes, the badge is a problem.
You will end up buying another 323 to use for parts .. again just like most of us.
Enjoy,
:D

Thank you! Love your 323!!!! Wow!
Yes I have been trying to get one of several people I know to 3d print. I did buy some rubbish stick on ones but they don’t say Estoril. I did manage to buy some but they need restoring & pretty worried about them being stolen again so going back to 3d print idea :)

Sorry for the late reply all, I wasn’t sure how frequently it was used & though no one responded to me then forgot about it & then forgot log in. Aha it’s never ending! However spoken to a few people on the Facebook group or people from the group with Instagram! I love it if I could see more peoples cars on Instagram! The 323’s I think are the most underrated & most amazing cars!

So my boy is being restored as much as possible. Many thanks to Smurf as I now have the original rear wing for my boy. I need to fix a crack in his front bumper. I have had the rear done thanks to Toby who’s on here somewhere. Oh & the new mirrors!

I am planning to do a few shows this year. British Motor Show in August & Simply Japanese in July.

My to do list:

-Fix crack in front bumper
-Need new window regulator & motor for my window (think toby has one for me)
-Get my rear wing wrapped & fitted
-Need new front number plate holder
-Fit my new rear panel
-Get someone to 3D print me new badges

Sure there’s some other things but these are the main things :)

Hey Peach, great to see you back! Come to the shows: I'm not sure who will go to what, but we can sort that out :D

I have a spare BA number plate holder you can have for free. I'm not at home at the moment but drop me your details in a DM and when I'm back I'll send it off to you.

I know a former club member with a 3D printer who might be able to help you - let me know if you go down that route.

Hi Peach
Good to hear the latest on you lovely 323. I'm just waiting for it to be a bit warmer then I can properly raid my shed and dig out a window regulator for you as promised. I've had a couple of unsuccessful rumages already but I know there is one in there somewhere. Come spring I'm sure we'll bump into everyone as the show season begins - looking forward to meeting Cephei. My first 323 was called FON (from number-plate) and I now have SBU and Skulker in progress, and I'm really enjoying driving Pete the red one, I think you saw when you picked up some bits. I've been glueing my front number plate holder back together from broken plastic shards, but at the moment I rather like the clean lines of my front number plate being bolted directly to the bumper. Will ventiually do it right though. Serena will sort you out with a number plate holder for sure!

Hi :) thank you so much! I know you said when it’s warmer so all good & I was in no rush anyway. However I am going to book my boy in for his MOT in mid April & they’ll fix his window at the same time so if I could possibly get it by then that would be amazing! Obvs just let me know the price & everything :) will just be nice to have a working window again aha. It’s a bit of fun when it’s pouring with rain!

Ah ok, got you. It’s funny how we name our cars. So you have another one now as well!? I did see the figaro type red lxi when I was there :) oh wow I so need to see the other one now too!

Yes that would be amazing! The British motor show takes clubs for stand & showing instead of individual, so if you need to join a club, one of mine I’m sure would love to bring you on! They’re pretty much in the mid set of the more the merrier & im sure my friend who use to own a 323 would love to see more of them. He loves mine to pieces.

If anyone is up for simply Japanese in July as well the date has now been confirmed as 23rd July & I am so looking forward to going!

Oh fab I see Serena has replied so I will chat back :) thank you

Hi Serena :) thank you so much!
Not sure what shows everyone is interested in but what would be amazing is if people came to simply Japanese at Beaulieu motor museum as there is a distinct lack of 323’s! Would be amazing if we had a whole group of us!
British motor show again is amazing. I already have 2 clubs my boy goes with to that but no harm in submitting a 323 club stand up…. Then i can gently let one of my groups down because how amazing would a whole stand of our cars be!?

That would be absolutely amazing if you have one please! You star! I don’t mind paying for it. Been after one for a couple years now ever since car hit an unseen fallen tree :(
I also need to repair the front bumper as there’s a huge crack in it.

He’s slowly coming together now :)
