So, I had it for 5 years. I bought my 1.5 BA with a "broken window switch" and I put around 7000€ in it to fix it, damn that's a pretty expensive switch lol.

Well guys, so my car went thru a lot of modifications, engine swapped with a newer one, tranny swapped with a newer one, but now the car is broken as hell. Might be a piston that's broken badly, the thing is, it lost compression, it sucks a lot of fuel, and I can't afford a 1.5 that sucks more oil and fuel than the 1.3 that I'm getting.

So yeah, whoever knows what the 1.3 means, you're right. I'm getting me an RX8, through a mazda dealer, with warranty, rebuilt engine, a lot of extras and mods (so I don't spend more money on those), it's got 103.000 km on board, and the rebuild is because the dude who sold it to the mazda dealer, wanted them to make the car perfect and new (it has all the certificates and all that stuff, so it's all great).

The main problem with the 323F that I still have at least till the end of the week, is that I couldn't afford time to fix it. Money doesn't matter after all, but time does. I have very little window of time due to my job, so I couldn't actually afford spending my free time fixing a car, instead of enjoying it. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy fixing and changing parts, but I'd prefer changing a part without any other going bad, and saldy, that's what happened with my car.

It's been a pleasure being with you people, you helped me a lot when I asked stuff, and I hope I've been helpful when I answered to questions of other owners, not like I had that much experience as many users in here have, but well, after all, I took apart this car many times.

I hope you all keep them 323Fs revving high (u can't have them higher than my RX8 but it's ok), I really loved this car, and I still love it, but as I said, I'm busy all the time, so I need enjoying the car, not struggling with fixes all the time without even driving it. I hope your cars don't break, and if they do, you guys can count on eachother, as you people have a lot of experience with these cars.

Maybe, if the stupid emissions regulations in my country go away, I hope I'll be able to get another 323F, which I doubt, but hey, I enjoyed driving it.

Have a great time, and again, thank you people a lot for all the good time spent in here.
Cheers,
Alex.

Hey Alex

I'm sad to see you go, but this is what owning cars is about: sometimes you have to move on. I spend a lot of time fixing my cars (three of them!), but I still enjoy that. When I stop enjoying it, it will be time for me to move on.

I hope you enjoy the RX8. Come back and post some photos in this section! :thumbright:

I'll post em once I got it parked right next to the 323F, to compare them..... right now I can compare them this way (due to the status of the 323F):

I'm getting an RX8. It's a 323F, but it's rear wheel drive, it has more horsepower, it's more modern, and that's about it. My 323F compsumes almost the same oil ammount as the RX8, if not even more, and fuel economy-wise, believe it or not, I'll be saving money with the RX8, since, with the 323F when I last drove it this monday, my fuel reading was 28l/100km, by driving it at 30 km/h in 3rd gear, no stops, straight and eaven road

well....... it's wider, newer...... but it's still a Mazda, yeah.
I love it, it doesn't rattle like my 323F....

I was actually having a chat with a friend about the hate on RX8s, and I told him about my 323F. I can't hate on all 323Fs just because mine wasn't good..... I know of 323Fs that achieved a million km, and maybe there are that achieved more, in really bad areas. Well, mine wasn't good, I tried to make it good, but I just got tired of everything breaking all the time -.-

Anyway, there's ma 2 bois (still, until I get rid of the orange one). I'll be taking stuff out of the 323F ofc lol..... the radio in the 323F is 600€ almost, I won't let that in it.... 200€ amp, many other more things, I've even found out that I had a red idemitsu bottle in my 323F back when I was stupid and premixed a couple of times with the old engine, bc rotary lover, and many other things, I might have 1500 € worth of crap in the car, that I'll be moving to the RX8

by the way.... one thing that I've noticed with the RX8 and also the 323F, is the revving sound. Till 6500 rpm, they're pretty the same, at least that's how I hear it.
