I all ready have 2 underneath the car... probably need more, we shall see. We will try to pass the MOT with a European spec ECU which should work better with the lambda sensors and, I hope, will match to the emission standards

the rainbows and kittens sounds really nice :D

This is what the Passenger side (RHD) CV looks like for a Mazda Lantis R VLSD optioned transmission.

I understand that the spiral cuts in the shaft are required for lubrication purposes.

So the car is running like it should. Unfortunately the KL31 ecu is not working for MOT, when we turn the lights on the engine stalls.
After a good search we'd discovered that the ECU needed to be replaced. No problem lot of ecu's on stock :)

The car is running as a madman. Only MOT sorting out. Some rear brake disks are ordered, few other parts as well so when the MOT is done I have to test drive it allot. 500km is required to determine if its okay or not.

Allot of work is still to be done, there is a client waiting for his car and I also have to finish my house extension before JAE because Iris (my girl) an I expecting our first baby in October :D So I'm pretty much working my butt off to finish everything. :|

but I will be at JAE with my car, don't care how but I am there (yes... with a tent  )

Congratulation Adri! didn't know you were becoming a dad soon mate!

Is there a massive performance difference now then? Glad youve managed to get most of work done and can't wait to see the car at JAE :)

Well, Barreljan his N/A Klze did a 215bph with stock KF ECU, so lets say this one does the same... means that is has 20bph more...
but the Dyno will say more/less, the KLDE with KL31 ECU had a 192bph (25bph more than stock figures)

oh and I have taken almost an extra 10kilos out of the car

MOT Time,

Image

It is not nice to drive, lot of noises, way to bouncy and stiff...
so up for sale

NOT, I hope that the MOT mechanic will approve it. We discovered a faulty lambda connector so that need to be fixed, that will be done by the MOT-mechanic so I can focus on my house and cleaning up the work shop.

fingers crossed...

Its real nice a bigger engine, but due to the quick work we had to use the materials we had in the shop and never replace with decent stuff. So plans are after JAE to overhaul the car completely and make it better that before.

A bit neglected I can say, So that needs to be changed :)

Soo

still no MOT Because :

Wheel bearing left side
Window washers front (forgot to replace  )
Emissions...

To this evening BJ will try to sort out the emissions, it is a faulty oxygen sensor, well the wiring of it in the main loom :doubt:
tomorrow I will replace the wheel bearing and than we give it another go..

work to do..

House is pretty coming along, floor is in, sealing is done now waiting for my father-in-law to paint the walls...
Baby room is nearly done, few bits and pieces curtains and a small thing to paint.

Well! We survived another JAE! it was really awesome! Met new people, get to know some of you better and had a really good time :D

I thought it was time to introduce the daily mule I brought to JAE.
Image

It is a mule, really it is, I use it for all the necessary jobs around the house. And to go to work , I have used it also to travel for holidays.... haha  It has seen The Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Italy and now also the UK! It isn't looking that good, but it is pretty reliable.

A stock 1.6 16v somewhere there should be 90ps in it  it is quite swift ;)
K-sport coilovers,
Laser Deeptone exhaust with a deleted midbox,
Renault Safrané sideskirts,
17" wheels,
Tined windows,
Recaro ergo seat,
2Sony Explod speakers and a closed sunroof...

That sunroof is one pain in the bottom, it isn't that pretty fixed but it is closed and I'm now dry :p

Image

I wont spent to much time on it because is simply don't have the time for it and I have the V6r as well which I will rebuild first.
That one will be painted, welded and modified

Thank you guys for the hospitality and the warm family vibe there ! 8) :D
