So the issue at hand is, the car have been sitting for some time and it wont start, the last thing that was replaced on the car b4 it was put away is a changed Crank wheel the one the Crank angle sensor meassures from. The car did start once after the new part was installed but then it havent started since.

No spark, I get fuel, dissy cap and rotor have been changed (worn out) Iv had an original Mazda Tester on the car, and currently getting the following fault codes.

10 41 46 8 and according to my searches online its all about air flow, and air sensor. But can a faulty sensor here cause no spark?

As fuel gets old it "jellyfies" - Then the filter gets clogged then the injectors...
It's a process of elimination really :(

I have meassured the power from battery all the way around. And have all the right power where they needs to be. I am thinking the dizzy or crankshaft sensor.

Is it trying, firing and dying? Or just turning over under starter motor

Its turning. But no spark. But i am going to try with a new crank sensor. Cheapest part. If not thst then possibly a new distributor. All fuses are good also. If i pull the plug after turning there is fuel at the end of it so it is getting fuel.

Clean the terminals of the air flow meter, if it's not giving signal then the ecu won't allow it to start

Ok, I am now down to error code 41 and 46, new crank sensor will arrive tomorrow or thursday. Have ordered a complete new Distributor aswell, just to keep as a spare or change if needed. Parts is apperently harder and harder to come by. There arent many of this exact type of model left in Denmark.

Just a thought after re-reading this but have you tried tapping the crank pulley in with piece of timber and heavy hammer? if its sitting too far out your existing sensor wont pick it up.

Faulty Distributer was the cause. Now its time to prepare it for MOT.
