Why a one-person car? Don't you have a passengerseat?

Hellracer, Hellracer,

I'm just wondering how you found the air pressure you were running on track?

So as some of you guys probably know that i have a 323F BG V6 KLDE run on the dyno a whoping 192bhp!

But thats not good enought. So we are goinig to replace it with the 5th and also the last engine.

My plan for this car/year is :
As light as possible and more powerrr

So we are goinig to replace the old KLDE with an KLZE, increase the output with aproxx 20-30bhp stock with some additional hp
I have sold my old KLDE and need a differend one. Well we had a KLZE in stock so lets use that one.

First step is make it run and MOT as last year a few day before JAE the MOT failed and i were not able to bring this fine piece of engineering to the UK.
Second step is to install the HPC-Inletmanifold and HPC-Flywheel, add a OBX crack pouly, megasquirt and EDIS ignition an your crank spins as a mad man.

We are not installing a Turbo, because this car will weight allot less than that fat BA we have in our shop
The current weigth on the licence is 1030KG with V6 and rollcage etc etc. I have simply removed some unneccesary parts and won 30kg! So 100kg to go.
It wont be done with JAE, but mayby next year its running like plan.

The main goal is : 900kg - 250bhp.

i have 2 pictures :

Lerch, i'm sorry that is not a quadrotor   :p still thinking about it, and yes it is possible

Seriously though dude some great work and glad to see shes got a lovely new heart to pound round the track with. Should be an animal on track at 900kg with 250bhp adri

Yes, every JAE attendance with a different engine :D Incredible...

So the full list (not jae particular):
1.6 16v
1.8 16v GT
1.8 16v GTX with upgrades
2.5 KLDE
2.5 KLZE

but, after the GTX there was another GT engine in it, but didn't run and we had a deadline so it received a V6 and therefor it's not on the list.

UPDATE time :P

KLZE J-spec is installed, it works as well, only due to a mistake we need to swap the gearbox for a better one. :? But, as I was searching for a good K8/KF or KL gearbox I stumbled on the Lantis R LSD gearbox that we have lying around in the shop for quiet a while now.

The only thing we don't have is proper axles for this gearbox. We tried allot of axles but non of them fit. I tried my MX3 axles and the short one on the right side fits great! the left side axels need some modification. I have to take of a few millimetres and then it will (probably  ) fit. If not, a normal KF gearbox will be mounted and the whole car will be finished for MOT ASAP!

I am determined to come to JAE with my little Frankenstein

So up to the lathe!! :D

Image
CV joint in the lathe, we have took around 4mm of

Image
Modified CV joint, it is between steps, as I tried the first time it wouldn't fit so we had to mod it a bit more :)

Image
Here you can see the that the Lantis R gearbox is installed, with a normal differential you see a axel in that same hole from the pinion wheels.

SO I have a j-spec KLZE with a J-spec gearbox managed by a J-spec KL31 Ecu... very Japanese :P
Now I have to sort everything out for the MOT

nice work Adri/BJ!! Love a good lathe! :p
Can I ask what you both do for a living? Are you mechanics or do you have other jobs outside of the garage?

BJ works as a IT-network engineer, so with computers, and I work as a service coordinator for a large company serving dairy farmers with robot technics. Before that I worked as a mechanic at a motorcycle shop. We have learn much by doing it ;)

So no, it is still a hobby tough.
I'm working on a own shop but there for I need some extra room and time. I hope to start with that Jan. 2015

I so much hope that everything works out fine. The ECU needs to get things done properly for MOT, the fuelpump needs some work (modded BG version with a V6 BA pump...)

Biggest fear for MOT: emissions...

Buy a job lot of catalytic converters on the cheap, weld them all together and use that as your exhaust for your MOT test :evil4: you'll lose power, but the car will just shoot rainbows and kittens out the back :D
