We've all tried this and experimented with it..

There is none on this forum at this point in time with a working z5 turbo, some are working on it or have done it in the past. Most have tried and failed.

Now for a real answer, the z5 has not been designed as are turbo engine. Therefor it can only handle a little bit more I think a maximum of 130hp is probably possible for a few thousand miles if driven with care.

Also a word of advise.. do not post this random questions without any further info or even trying to explain anything about the project. I can assure you most people, incl myself, hate this.

I agree with Sneakz on this matter. It cost's way too much to get the Z5 in any shape to take any real boost from a turbo. You would be much better off buying a bigger or already turbo setup and dropping it in.

I found i spent a hell of a lot when i supercharged my Z5 for a while :(

It should be able to hold a decent pressure between 0.5 en 0.7 bar (7 or 10psi). Most N/A engines can deal with it, however it depends completely on the whole engine package. If the engine is in proper condition and you will use a controllable fuel management system or full standalone, it will do fine.
