Here we go, I bought this with blown engine. First i have had head ported and polished and skimmed, sonic cleaned and cracked tested. Now looking good 8)

I have just received all the engine goodies, CP Forged turbo pistons, Manley Conrods rated to 700BHP, ACL race bearings, ARP Mains Bolts, Gates Timing Belt Kit, Bottom end Gasket Kit, all ready to go to my engine builder for installation.

Block being rebored and crank being reground.

Still to order and waiting for Cometic head gasket, Water Pump, ARP Head Bolts Uprated Fuel Pump and Oil Pump.

An expensive rebuild but should be reliable.

I will update as and when more progress is made. Thanks for looking. :)

Hi did not get time to do a full build thread but here is the almost finished product. Just running in now and will send off to tuning company eventually to have my Gizzmo boost controller fitted and set up on the rolling road. Hope you all like.

It cost a fortune for the engine as everything was brand new i'm just pottering at moment as running in but it seems to drive like you said like a go kart. Can't wait to have set up and boost upped hoping for around 300bhp so should be fun. Cheers. 8)

I hope this is just for start? With this parts and 4x4 I would go for at least 400+ :D
Waiting for some movies of GTR in action.

In answer to Tekkenfan going for 300bhp at moment as its on original turbo and been told that's a safe level. To progress further i would need, new turbo, intercooler, manifold, injectors, stand alone ecu which is another £4000 or so to do properly and then the gearbox would probably end up broken. Then i'd need a celica GT4 set up drivetrain which would probably cost another £2000 or so, so it starts getting very expensive. Love to do all that but i've already got over 6k in it at moment. :)

Quick run out to set my Gizzmo Boost Controller. Set to 15psi at moment going to Motorsport Developments Next week for dyno and set up. A bit icy so had to be a bit careful and sound rubbish as my phone is crap at video. Car running great now. :o
