Mods:
Eibach -30mm lowering springs on standard struts - Decent condition.
OBX Stainless manifold with new O2 cheater plug - Decent condition, but tarnished/blued as stainless does when its hot hot hot. Light surface rust tarnishing on downpipe section, the bit you can't see!
Fishmouth front grille - Autoexe replica, quite rare - Decent condition, paint cracks at the top where it fixes to the bumper, but can't be seen unless bonnet is open, just needs repainted.
SAMCO blue silicone hoses - good condition.
K&N panel filter - good condition - I'll also supply cleaner and oil for it.
Shortshifter - Modified MX6 shifter reduces the knob travel from about 160mm to 100mm approx. Good mod.
Genuine Mazda weighted gearknob - numbers wearing off, but otherwise good.
Intermittent Mazda 6 wiper stalk, probably one of the best mods ever!
Clear side indicators - good condition.
Mazdaspeed style oilcap.
Chrome Dial Rings - Errr.... they're chrome rings for round the dials.
Headlight protectors - Good condition.
Various dashboard red LED's, middle air vents, cubby holes, glove box.
Blue LED footwell lights, wired as per the original Jap accessory part is, and blue LED interior light.
Wheels - good condition, but could do with a paint. Very slight kerbing on one, no bubbling or serious scratches.
Tyres - 3 are in excellent condition, with loads of tread, one is legal but not for long.
Bodywork - All 4 arches have varying degrees of rust, the rears are repairable.
Everything in this car works, no electrical problems except the NSR wheel sensor is faulty, which flashes up the ABS/Traction control light occasionally.
Car is mechanically superb, its been seviced annually by me, which I've kept a pretty comprehensive record of, although the oil sump needs re-sealed as its leaking at the gasket. The sump was renewed 1.5 years ago.
Front brakes probably about due new pads. Rear brakes look a bit errr... in need of maintenance, but still work fine with no seizure.
Front wheel bearings have both been renewed.

This would be an excellent buy for someone thats after some decent stuff........ lowered suspension struts, an OBX stainless manifold, and other great mods for the BJ like the front grille, Samco hoses, K&N and short shifter.
The car is repairable in my opinion, and would serve someone well for another couple of years if you have the time and space for a wee project. I'd like to repair it, even though I have another car now but I just don't have the time.
I have no intention of breaking it, as I said, I don't have the time and I want/need my drive empty.
Car is in Broxburn, West Lothian. I'm willing to travel a certain distance for train fare home........ TALK TO ME.

What did it fail on mate ? Ide get it welded tbh my 1.8 bj has had patches on both sides where yours has gone and not had any probs

This is the final call, it'll be going to the scrappy next, which will pretty much break my heart because there's a lot of good bits on it, but I'd need it to stay "moveable".
I won't break it, I don't have the time or the space, although I'd obviously remove anything I could easily and quickly.
Take a look at the list of mods, Front grille, Eibach springs, OBX manifold, short shifter, Samco hoses............blah blah blah......

Are your samco hoses red. ?

i would have this quite happily, only problem is, no money, got my 21st b-day in two weeks and thats used up my funding because of the venue and arrangements! real shame for her to get scraped if not sold.

It's up to him wether he lets you drive it away, and you as it's now illegal to drive due to no mot

Drives no problem, I was using it up until a month ago and I had it out on Friday for a cobweb removal drive, although it would defo benefit from front brake pads. It also now has no MOT and the tax is out on Saturday.

Oh ,and it'll be SORN tomorrow night.

I also forgot to add, the car has a brand new Halfords Calcium 4 year warranty battery, fitted in March .

does your car have the mazda genuine emergency breakdown kit? if so, was it original to the car, and who made it?

No, all we get is a spacesaver spare wheel and the means to lift the car and change a wheel.

I'm not breaking this car fully as I need to keep it rolling and relatively complete.
However, if you need anything I'll see what can be done. It'll be getting scrapped very soon.

It can be driven away legally as long as its booked in for an MOT and going to the station.

So you could drive it home via the MOT station. If it fails at least you will know what on and youve got the car home.
