he cant at the moment as the base map is too lean so you have to wait for it to be mapped

Doesnt seem to lean out as much now... but the air/fuel is all over the place ? BUT it doesnt cut out and stall

Really cant wait to get it to the tuners now.

Also might be able to put back my std cooling fan now theres more room

Nice little woosh from the bov... not loud enough for me

maybe this is because im on low boost?

the higher the boost the more pressure there is to escape over the valve!

(same theory as blowing hard into a whistle)
gets really loud high up the reve range! ask Lerch he heard ours from some distance away on the way to meguairs meet :lol:

This is true dude, i could hear it a good few hundred feet away whilst at around 5000 rpm in maddy so it definately does get louder with the rev range ernee

As you can see its not on the Dyno and wasn't when i left

Turned out the installers ( Really really wish I found Tuning developments before hand :crybaby:

) Hadn't wired up the eManage blue up correctly and not installed a map? The car was running with Std Ecu . the eManage hadn't been wired up to the Injectors ....which turned out to be a blessing as it would had wrecked the engine if so .

Really not happy about it to be honest .

The guys at tuning told me they will post a video on their facebook page when its on the dyno

Really nice guys so I hope you Japfesters and JAEer can pop along to their stand to say ello

I know it doesn't help but at least your engine is still intact Neil. It could have been very costly otherwise

The rung today and asked if they could have it for a couple of days. only reason being they've got other work in. they had the car running yesterday so i guess only needs a map now

Still at the tuners

My own stupid fault. I knew I should have fitted a uprated clutch kit but didnt and tried to save some cash but fitting a new Faactory kit

Clutch is slipping on the dyno as it cant handle the torque . Most of yesterday spent resurching parts and finding a u.k supplier for an uprated clutch kit.
Exedy uk where next to useless I even gave them the Us Part number to see if their tech deprtment could source parts out of a kit over here.. luckily I have found a U.k clutch specialist in Leeds http://www.clutch-specialists.co.uk/. They list a performance kit for the Bj BUT is rated at stage 3, I dont want it to hard to drive everyday so really looking for stage 1 or 2. Waiting on a call back to see what others they can get as there are other options . :thumbright:

Otherwise I'll have to order from the U.S and wait 2weeks for it

Took a look at that website out of curiousity and found they do 3 different clutch kits for the BJ (2.0). £145 for what I assume is standard, £205 for Stage 1 and £325 for Stage 3. Hope you've just overlooked this and they can provide the Stage 1

This is a nice problem to have! :lol:

plus if your clutch only slips at the very top of the power band it might be a way of prolonging gearbox life.
although i dont know what the BJ boxes are like we try to keep our G series wrapped in cotton wool
