after doing some reading on a New Zealand http://www.amazd.co.nz i think we need to look into swapping our brake master cylinder and prop valve for a V6 version as this will give us better pedal feel and performance. :D

Check out Dash4 !!!! It's better, it's cheaper I think, but it can be mounted IN the steering.

I've seen it live at Jeroentje.nl and it's awesome, where the others still have the DASH2, also
the features the data logger give are awesome!

But I'd go for a big brake kit first?

All very true but its not road legal and i'd rather swap the original clocks for something new rather than stick on another instrument infront of them

:D

Not street legal?

Strange MOT rules... hahahaa, you could do quick release, the cable has a connector, and I think
you can take off the display really easy... click on click off system

** have you got a video of the car already? :D

You can PM me ! :D :D

it needs to have a tamper proof odometer to be road legal :( (i'd use it as a replacement rather than an add on)

no videos, need a decent camera and mount! :?

Who says that you need an odometer at all? ;)

You don't when registering kit cars/radically altered cars (stricter IVA test) and you don't for the MOT.

Many factory odometers aren't tamper proof anyhow - VAG stuff is particularly easy...

You can alter the mileage on standard BA clocks too, it's just a bit more physical than plugging in a compuper and pressing some buttons

A philips screwdriver, a drill and some bluetac will do the trick ;)

After a few letters backwards and forwards to the DVLA we think we should have our V5C back soon with all details upto date! :D

The other week we fitted a thermostat as it never had one fitted when we bought the engine...... All good now though and she warms up nice and quick!

Also got a 1 1/16" Subaru brake master cylinder on its way so i can have a play :D

Have you ever thought of dropping an email to Banzai or the like to see if they would do a feature on your beast?

It would make a fantastic read ;)
