I want the pheonix badge to replace the old Innsbruck faded badge but I don't have a tenner at the moment  Shame really! :(

And thanks Daz, you'll be seeing it at the next kettering meet I assume? :D

UPDATE:

Did a bit of tinting and respraying, first of all the rear indictors:

Before:

After:

And the newly resprayed headlight protectors, I think I might actually do the bottom to give them more of a squint... I have no idea if it'll look good or pants.

I actually got these with my old car as the guy worked at Mazda (within the spare parts department) so he grabbed them pretty easily.

Buying new I'm not 100% sure actually, but I'm sure someone will know, if you're after some you're best of putting up a "Wanted" ad.

Nothing Special today,

Resprayed front badge:

And resprayed the tints so they're darker, other ones were getting on my nerves:

Also have a super secret plan that's so super secret I can't utter a word about it. That said I'll try getting some photos up tomorrow.

Car also needs a damn good wash!

Tint looks good mate, which spray did you use and does enough light still get through?

@Justme - I used Savage tint spray it's very good stuff - I used several coats to get it dark as that, and no it really doesn't block out much light actually I'm surprised how good it is for that.

Ok, went to see Hughie to get a few bits sorted which included new drilled, grooved discs and mintex pads (which were like 3 quid cheaper than Brembo so why not), I also attempted to fit the HT leads, Spark plugs and as much of the brakes as pose myself, but I've discovered that hughie hates not having something to do when it comes to cars which is both good and bad  Thanks again mate for the all the help :thumbright: Also nice seeing Darren and your family again, lovely cuppa :)

Old discs all crappy looking:

New Disc!:

Painted the calipers lime green, have to say this was good paint only paid about £7 for it and it can be used as spray paint too:
Image

Image

Pads fitted:
Image

Also did splitter, had to get the bumper off for it though got "Bored" trying to do it on the car haha:

New sparkly HT leads and Spark plugs, much smaller contact area on the spark plug but looks good to me, I can say I notice a small difference in response but I'd say that was down to have very old HT leads more than anything.

Image

To be continued... Next sat I've got MOT, going to get an oil change, fuel filter change, new throttle body fitted, higher brake light, body panels sorted errr thats all I can think of for now then she should start coming together a bit more! Hopefully get this all done for Japfest :D

Right managed to do some stuff whilst I was on the easter holidays but nothing near what I wanted to, ah well I'll find time to do that oil change in the next week or so.

Fitted chrome kickplates, unfortunatly the clips are pretty shagged so I couldn't drill the plates down so I've stuck them down using numberplate double sided stickers:

Image

A couple of stickers, one to cover some rear bumper damage (which won't upload cause photobuckets crap):

And I Phoenix had a wash today as well:

I'm very very impressed I have to say! Definitely one of the more tastefully modified F's Infact if I'm honest (and I might as well be) the only thing that I don't like is the black rear panel. Everything else looks brilliant.

Glad you like Si ;) I am tempted to respray the panel gloss black as it is satin at the moment but I'm happy as it is for now.

I'll post up piccys soon but on Saturday I took the car to the bodyshop to get the bump strip mess professionally removed, I'm very impressed, the doors got a good polish, it's not perfect but it's better than it was!
