Removed lightened flywheel and clutch out of Crystal and ready for transfer into Pheonix, pictures pending of the flywheel ;)

Coming to think of it, I've never seen it, it could easily not have been lightened :lol:

As per our discussion on FB chat I'd be up for that mate :thumbright: I'm going to pick up the clutch / flywheel in a minute, I don't reckon they'll be happy, I personally think they removed it cheap because they knew they'd get the business putting it in my new car :lol:

UPDATE:

Spent most of the weekend at Stuz ftting my lowering springs, Whiteline Anti Roll bar and Shiny new Alloys. (Phone pics only sorry!)

Before:
Image

Image

Hughie inbetween - nice yellow Apex Spring there, some of the standard springs were in really bad shape actually the back 2 I'd say were the worst, bit after 13 years you can't complain:

Image

And After:

Image

Not got too many photos I forgot the camera at stus house.

Stu was here:

Image

That's right the number plate is now fixed!!!! No more wonkyness!

Also fitted a new oil cap:

Image

Stu also had ago on the very sorry state of my wing mirrors - They look stunning now

before:

Image

After:

Image

Managed one group shot before Stu went action man over his Bonnet :lol:

Image

She just needs a damn good wash and a new passenger side front door as Stu had a bash at getting the rubber bump strip mess off and it wasn't budging!

Just want to thank Hugh and Stu for there time and help Stu for his attention to detail and Hugh for his "Just give me a hammer" attitude toward anything that won't budge :lol: I've come away with so much more knowledge and confidence to do more work to my own car, seriously cannot thank you guys enough :D

Nice seeing you again this weekend porl :) glad we had a productive day with the car!

And with regards to my "give me a hammer" approach - without it, you would be without an anti-roll bar :lol: and you need to work out - couldn't crack those nuts with a 18" breaker bar :lol:

Car is looking SO much better on the floor and with the alloys - just be careful over speed bumps now ;)

Thanks for the comments guys and yes we both gave it a good hard bashing, it just wasn't budging really :lol:

Totally agree she's looking great got few more bits to do to get her looking amazing though.

And I took the village route home, boy did I feel it :lol: No potholes just a rather bumpy old road kept me awake which is a bonus :laughing6:

Fool :lol:

Should have gone the way we came - through Seamer, past the workshop, right at the roundabout, past shell garage - follow that (A64) until you hit the A1M, turn onto the A1M south, follow that until you hit M1 south, follow that to Nottingham :lol:

Got loads to do Chris, it's almost endless, but what's next is:

* Resprayed V6 Splitter
* Colour Coded Door handles
* Resprayed Headlight protectors
* Ported / painted throttle body.
* Full service with uprated parts
* New drilled / Grooved Discs and Pads
* Aftermarket Steering wheel
* Custom Dials (hughiefied)

Then loads of other stuff I either don't have or won't do for a while yet, got the MOT to get through start of April :?
