BA - Last few pics before the V6 is gone this coming weekend

This is the same for halogen bulbs too...

clean the bulb to remove the contaminant...you'll be fine as long as you haven't used it

what would you use to clean it Marc? Alcohol would remove it best but probably not a good idea seeing as it's flammable :lol:

Alcohol is fine - it'll flash off long before you fit it and turn it on

Seeing as ive been unable to compound the motor today due to inclement weather I popped over to Halfords to buy some Silvatech bulbs.

No pics as the front end is a mess and the lenses are chipped and scratched due to the amount of miles shes done

Not a difficult job, just fiddly. Had the units in a bowl of HOT water for a fair while, the glue sets like concrete!!
