Allright guys, i have a part on my f that needs to be changed. Since i have no idea what it's called in english, i'm providing a picture, so you would know what i'm talking about



Allright, so i need to change it. According to some initial research, it seems prety easy to change one of these on a 323f V6, but i wanted to ask before i try it, just incase there is something i should think of when i do it.

I assume i start by removing the wheel, right? What happens after that? Is there something else i need to remove, or can i just start removing the " Thing " after that?

Also, is there any pressure on it from the spring? Should i think of something here so that i dont die? :}

It's a bottom ball joint. Yeah you remove the wheel first, then undo the bolt at the top of the joint. (Where the wheel hub is.) After the bolt is off, you may need to whack a screw driver or something into the Y piece where the bolt your just removed is at. You can then hit the top metal rod attached to the joint to slide it out of the hub. You then undo the two bolts connecting the joint to the lower control arm and you're done.

Ok, sounds easy enough! But i should not be worried about any pressure from the spring then? no danger of getting impaled by something?
