BRAKE FLUID WARNING

Well, the calipers are not leaking and the car stops! As opposed to the calipers leaking and the car not really stopping until it felt like it!

So was the leaking an instant thing? I thought it was something that would happen over time mate, sorry - got the wrong end of the stick...in that case, all good

Duh, i feel so idiotic right now. When i first registered here on the forum after buying my BA i read this thread.

it just so happens, that i actually put f'ing DOT 4 brake fluid in the car, after a mechanic, and a rather trustworthy mechanic, claimed that it would be better, or just as good (cant remember what e said)

Anyways, now my car is leaking breaking fluid, so i have to refill it every once in a while, but it's leaking faster and faster.

Guess this is due to me being retarded and putting DOT 4 in it even though i was warned in this thread?

Is there any way i could actually tell if this is the case, or if it's leaking somewhere else? And if it's this problem, where should i look for a potential leak?

Wait, now this is interesting, is the clutch & brake fluid master cylinder connected? Could this be what is causing troubles for my clutch?

as YEP they are indeedy connected and share the same resovoir.

I got a r reg BA 1.5 estoril in blue.
not long ago I've been given a whole bottle (800ml) of Volvo DOT4+ (SAE J 1703) brake fluid, can I use that on my car?
