With help from Shinds and gsg400

Here is the information regarding what to buy in order to keep your steering wheel stereo controls when you upgrade your Factory head unit with a aftermarket item.

I had mine ordered in from my local autotronix store along with the fascia adaptor, came the next day . No mention of the 323f on any of the packaging, but the lead is the same for all mazda models from 2001 on.

The guy in autotronix just said to make sure you tell them what make of Head unit you are installing as different manufacturers have different connections for the steering wheel control,

oh and make sure that ur Head unit supports this feature before buying the expensive iso lead with steering wheel control.

I bought both componants from caraudiosecurity.com , Interface Autoleads PC99-X46 and the patch lead for my head unit. Both came to a total of £35.98 with free postage.

Very easy to fit and worth while if you miss the steering wheel control feature.
