Its been brought to my attention that some members of the club323f forum are contacting suppliers with a view to starting group buys, or ordering products in bulk.
Due to past problems with group buys falling through or wrong parts being ordered in bulk, anyone wishing to start a GB or bulk order please do so via our trading team, (Matt or offshore4ft) or at least contact a moderator or other staff member for advice.
Group buys that become problematic pose a huge burden, not only to the people involved in the deal, but to the club on a whole, and also to suppliers. When problems arise it usually costs someone time or money and jeapordises any future potential dealings we might be able to have with these suppliers. It also causes problems when payments are due, and all of a sudden the question of trust arises amongst members. This can of course cause bad feeling between members. It can all be avoided simply by utilising our Trading team and other staff.
Other "perks" may be offered by going through the club too.
We have two very knowledgable F'ers on here, who very kindly offer their time to help the club get discounts and other deals.
I'd like to encourage members to get involved, and all ideas will be seriously considered, any due reputation will be passed to the appropriate member and problems will be dealt with quickly and in the simplest way possible.
Any suggestions please post them here:
