Treated her to a "custom" bottle for the Ultimate Quik Detailer (that I always keep in the boot  ) - stainless steel with chrome Meguiars logo :thumbleft:

Fits nicely in the strap in the boot ;)

Took some pics of the Meguiars bottle fitted - its so shiny it creates a reflection in the boot - I thought it was a boot print at first

Then I finished my folding key - I've been working with an ebay supplier on this one, as their first version was nowhere near right for the car
Now it's complete with remote central locking, and immobiliser transponder ;)

Looks good Marc, I saw these keys on ebay but chickened out buying one because of the transponder issue. :?
Beyond my technical abilities.

There is a slight issue, in that the transponder cannot be cloned...yet...so you have to use a genuine Mazda one

The blank they list doesn't fit either, the shoulder is 0.5mm undersized! If anyone is considering one, let me know and I'll point you in the direction of the seller I've been working with, as they now have all the correct dimensions etc :D

hopefully these aren't that bright, I have the bright single LED ones in my sidelights up front, these are quite dull in comparison...

in fact. here's a pic of the front, with some LEDs and HIDs on :evil4:

Ooooh fancy . :thumbright: I like the 'spot' effect the foggies give on the boy work.

Made a start on the paintwork today, as it wasn't raining

Used a full array of meguiars products :laughing6:

NXT wash
Clay with quik detailer
Step 1 cleaner
Ultimate compound
Step 2 polish
NXT 2 wax

I did the roof and bonnet, hoping to finish the rest tomorrow. it's quite shiny though :)

Looks neatly done bud - not a fan of it myself, but that's just personal preference and it would be boring if we all liked the same thing.

Car looking well shiny too 8)

You need to get some ultimate detail spray as its way better at top up the the quick detailer ;) Its carbuna wax safe unlike quick detailer :thumbright:

Also how your finding the NXT 2.0 Ive only used the 1st gen Nxt but in a paste and not liquid.

I use the quik detailer to lubricate the clay - and I use ultimate quik detailer to keep it looking good - it's in the stainless steel bottle, in the boot ;)

I used the step 3 carnuba wax before, and after the seminar, thought I'd try the NXT tech wax 2 - and it is gooood - well, the results speak for themselves really 8)
