Your seats look great by the way. So does the little detail on those headlight covers. :)

oh yeah the FSE power boost valve is now fitted. Just a small question, can you run a PSI gauge from the fse valve to the interior? I liked watching the guage going up and down whilst revving. I have the guage but would it possibly screw up the pressure having a longer pipe?

Thanks to Murray and Azz who helped with this.

I would get some proper ZXI (or different aftermarket) fogs Steve - those Ring ones don't fit properly and are a bit squiffy. It spoils the look of the front a bit in my pickled onion. :-)

Since I like to be honest, the paintjob is a bit off on colour. Ive
just checked that with photoshop before speaking as it could
be the camera. But colours dont match which is a bit :( because
it can be so much cooler! :)

But the kit you've bought is very very nice combined! That front
bumper like that is very cool mate! Ive seen that one up
close over here. But havent seen it on sparkle green though.

Ive allmost bought the exact same thing except for the thing that somebody allready attached it and then resprayed the whole thing,
so its one piece...

However I would like to ask you what colour paint did you use?

Did you match it up with standard colour?

Because Ive now been thrue 8 cans of sparkle green ;)

And well I had it mixed thrue my local car store hallfords type thing,
they in terms let some paint company make it and stuff it into a can.

But they ask for the reg number of my car, because then they make the paint faded a bit as it would be in the 12 year life of my car.
But its spot on the same colour as the body of the car, must add with
enough clear coat over it. It makes everything so much better, especially
with the lovely colour sparkle green!

Ive not dared to spray such large pieces with spray can, it can be done
but its allot harder. Would have it done by some company, with proper
mixing machine and spraybooth especially!

Have as Ive said I love the shape of it, have you got larger picture of the whole car? :D

thank you all, it is true the colour is slightly off, it is only visible in direct sunlight and the paint i got was 11r sparkle green from fordprobestore. Unfortunately i think it is basically new paint matching up to 13 yr old sun faded paint. The sides have not been attached yet as i was waiting for more paint to arrive as they are needing another coat. The lacquer was my major downfall, i got expensive primer, best paint supplier i know of but the lacquer i used was nasty cheap crap which has annoyed me.

On the plus side the front mesh was a pain is the backside to do as i had to bend it into shape 3 x times and stick it on the small vents with tiger seal but the results are nice i think. I will get more photos up but time is ticking and my new baby will be here soon,

Remember it is not anywhere near finished yet and the rear is only primed, not painted (i have to remove the towbar before any progress is made on the rear)

The bump strips SUCK!! I will tackle them when i am feeling brave!

Planetman, you always talk sense! they are out of place, that might be a future task if i am lucky and get a set.

More photos to follow.

Cool!

The clear coat can be applied much thicker then the normal paint!

Same thing can be found on my rear top spoiler thingy, its matt instead
of gloss shiny shine. Because I applied far too little of it. It looked Oh my god!!
its going to drip like, but it doenst it sticks better and is thicker. If you
make few layers of the wet look, and then last one looking completly
wet, remember that image, and touch it in the morning. Looks still
wet, thoughts go should I touch it... Try and feel, that it is completly
smooth and shiny!

Make it look completly wet, but just short of starting drips, I would
put atleast 6 coats on the splitter!!! It will need all the power it can
get for defending against shitloads of pebbles and rocks n crap.

Here is my new Multimedia headunit fitted. As advised by Kash i put the tray on the top and the headunit on the bottom. Its a touch screen with a remote control.

It doubles a a TV and you can hook up extra screens and a PS2 if wanted!

Image

Also i fitted a new exhaust bracket as it was rattling and was knackered.

thanks all,

plans

erm remove bump strips
get the rest of the body kit on
remove the tow bar
and get it through its MOT, i am saving up £600 for the MOT cos i think it will be thereabouts or more expensive, it has covered 35000 since its last and needs a cat, an exhaust, shocks, calipers (at least 2) and bushes for definate. Probably a lot more that i havent found too.

EDIT still finding out more to be done. RUST I HATE YOU!
