Hi there,

I'd like you to take a look at some pics (taken last year) of my ride. Since I'm going to change a few things this year, these might be the last photos of the car looking like this...

...so, what do you think?

cheers,
hmt

Very nice - needs a rear spoiler though. What's the extra dials by the radio for ?

**Posted:** Tue Jan 04, 2005 11:06 am

Well, I was not able to find a rear spoiler, which I really like, so I didn't get one at all (I like it that way).
The gauges are for oil-temp, oil-pressure and volts...

nice car i like gauges
:wink:

Nice one mate!!! Looks awesome!! :cheers:

**Posted:** Fri Aug 11, 2006 2:48 pm

nice! i like the front look the most.

have you any problems about engine overheating?

**Posted:** Fri Aug 11, 2006 3:47 pm

@wasTKS: No problems with the temperature - that's the reason why i didn't place the licenseplate lower (although it would look better, i have to admit);)

@ezzy: Sorry mate, long sold

(last stage of bodywork was done one year ago - maybe I should visit the forum more often - would be a good opportunity to polish my rusty school-english

)

I'm glad you like the car - i've had it for over 5 years now and sometimes i'm quit pissed when i see, which kind of people drive these type nowadays

Anyway, tomorrow I'm gonna fit a new suspension-kit (since my shocks are nearly worn out) - can't wait to go on a testdrive

(although i'm a bit afraid that it could become too uncomfortable)
Oh, please let me know, if anyone sells a "cheap" in-dash-TFT - im planning on putting my PS2 into the car but unfortunately i'm lacking a viewing device

(being a university-student it's quite hard to spend that amount of money on your car like i did in the past years :/ )

**Posted:** Fri Aug 11, 2006 5:54 pm

no ... but still one of the best

**Posted:** Fri Aug 11, 2006 6:43 pm

My god, i love the new bodywork on the car, may I ask where you got everything?

The skirts, the bumper lip, and the rear bumper bits, that car is perfect in my opinion! :cheers:

**Posted:** Fri Aug 11, 2006 7:26 pm

Thank you, glad you like it :colors:

It's a complete MS-Design Bodykit - i got the skirts from a friend who bought the last set available at the manufacturer, the lip was a lucky-shot at ebay and the rear-bits were copied by someone i knew some years ago...i believe nowadays you can purchase a complete replica-kit on ebay...don't know, if it fits though...

Took this picture yesterday:

Still to come: painted heatshield (black or silver?), custom intake, blue silicone tubes, new engine (;)...maybe in another life, having 10 times the money i have now

)

**Posted:** Sat Aug 12, 2006 8:12 am

Awesome mate - the whole car looks a treat.......

What are the mirrors off?

As for the heatshield - you want to be cleaning it with metal polish, it'll come up like a mirror :thumbleft:

**Posted:** Sat Aug 12, 2006 9:00 am

Nice looking car ya have there. :thumbleft:

Any more detailed shots of he interior?

**Posted:** Sat Aug 12, 2006 5:52 pm

Nice car, hard to believe these cars are of few generations ago ! Love the bonnet struts not seen them on a 323F i wouldnt mind getting.

**Posted:** Sun Aug 13, 2006 11:57 am

@richard: The Mirrors are E46 M3 - by the way, my second reversing-light should have been gone through your hands a few years ago

@Chester: I don't have interiour-shots right now - maybe i can make some next week (don't expect too much anyway)

Oh, if anyone is planning on buying a new suspensionkit, consider GTS - fitted mine yesterday and don't know how to express my enthusiasm - it's just great, a pleasure to drive without being too uncomfortable (like my old Koni-suspension used to be). Maybe i should go for a little ride...

edit: One more thing: What's your opinion about the manifold-heatshield? Better polish it oder paint it black like the engine-cover?

**Posted:** Sun Aug 13, 2006 7:16 pm

Love the car, Im not the biggest fan of sparkle green but yours is stunning.
Poished cover will look sweet as in my opinion

**Posted:** Sun Aug 13, 2006 11:58 pm

What do you think? Would this look better than the complete red "stripe"? (the color is just photoshopped atm

)

greetz,
chris

**Posted:** Fri Aug 18, 2006 9:28 am

keep it the way it is hmt!
everybody got those lexus lights on these days (not that they would look bad) and the complete red strip looks very clean with the tinted indicators

its way more unique!

thanks mate...
Wasn't too hard to fit - the wheel itself needs a little modification at the back (about 20 mins of drilling and smoothening

). the airbag...well. it has one, but it doesn't work (yet). just fitted the wheel today and have no time to make it work within the next days so i will postpone this to spring 2007
