can understand all your reasons, but i agree with jam, would be such a shame to loose the T family cos the F has gone.

I know the feeling Mark .. if my new engine doesnt turn up soon I shall be leaving the F Faternity for good ... I shall be joining the 7 or 8 faternity

Oh well.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed with Maisey at the mo - the miles are piling on and there's lots of squeeks and rattles appearing.

Oh how I agree Rich, trying to keep a ten year old motor going is hard enough let alone looking good is endless work.

Mark - Still feel a bit fuzy about your decisions matey............! Fingers crossed your still doing JAE - and maybe so is your F.......?

Rich, shame about the squeeks and rattles. I was always so impressed at how little it rattled and squeeked.

Yep, it was all nice and compfy, well, apart from the rock-hard suspension

.... Oh, that's a point ... I did tell the new owner that that's as soft as it will go

I hope his fillings are glued in well

reading that post was like a tragic love story, but i understand what you mean.....there are other things that are way above the F, and family is one of them.

It's the cleanest it's ever been too! I lifted the bonnet and the new owner's Dad exclaimed "bloody hell!"

The new owner seems like a top guy, but it's a shame I couldn't have met him under different circumstances

If he learns as much as I have, he'll do well!

I'm not 100% sure what to go for next. There's 3 in the list at the moment, all quite different, but an F is at the bottom of it (I'll leave you to guess what the others are):

1. RWD, small, turbo, revs to 10Krpm
2. FWD, hatch, turbo
3. F ZXi

I'm not getting another car for about 6 months if we can get away with it.

There's obviously some club stuff to sort out, but I'm not rushing to get away (how could I!!

), but I'll be working on that. Apologies to those that have paid for membership and not received your membership packs.

Yep, maybe. Looking at getting another car after Christmas. I've been promised to be allowed something nice, a toy of some sort.

i did indeed get Mark T's car

and she is awesome!!!!

It's a little bumpy on these island roads - but i cant wait to get her back up to swansea onto some proper tarmac.

An awesome car - there's nothing else i can really say about her - you all know her already

Definately be bringing her to JAE and the little south wales meet this month

Try winding the coilover top adjusters all the way to hard (they're as soft as they'll go at the moment!) - I never got round to trying it!!

Not so much the turbo, but the quirkyness, double wishbone suspension, rwd and only 1100 imported into the country. We'll see what comes along after Christmas (if I can last that long
