Hi everyone

Been a proud owner of my great 323F Automatic BJ 1.5 since buying it in 2010 with 37k miles on clock.

Fourteen years later it is time to reluctantly let it go, as I now have another car as I live next to a ULEZ area which charges £25 each day you enter it, as this Mazda is not compliant.

It is relatively cheap to tax and insure, and I must say in 14 years it has NEVER let me down.
Even in the depths of winter, in snow and ice, it has always started first time.
The engine must be bulletproof, as all I can remember ever having to buy have been;
Tyres, wiper blades, a replacement serpentine belt (2 years ago), a new Nissens radiator (2023).
It has hardly blown a bulb, but now needs a new exhaust from cat back. Not bad as it is still on the original exhaust since new in 1999. Mileage is only 78k. One tyre is close to need changing.
It has had regular oil changes and has been pet and smoke free in the cabin, with upholstery in very good condition.

The silver seal coating has peeled off on the bonnet, which could do with a respray, and is starting to peel on the rear of the car.
I noticed quite recently that the car takes a bit more acceleration from a starting position especially on any incline. The mechanic told me he believes it is due to the exhaust system issue.

There are not many of these models left on the road today, and it would be a shame to send it off to be scrapped. It could soon become a 'classic'.

Is there anyone that would be interested in purchasing this car for restoring back to it's best?
If so please let me know before I decide what to do with it.
'We buy any car' have offered £300 but I believe it's worth more than that to a buyer that knows how great and reliable these models are. It is in Racing Green.

Pics are available if you would like to see them.
The car is in KT21, Ashtead, Surrey (5 mins from J9 of the M25)
It is currently SORN with an MOT due 15th September 2024.

Thanks for reading.

Hi - just wishing you the very best of luck selling the BJ. They are indeed bullet proof and sounds like yours needs very little to keep it going well. You cna put a picture in your post, and theres even a "for sale" category here.

Don't forget Autotrader.co.uk is free for ads up to £1000 and they are still probaby the safest way to sell privately
