As I've decided to keep my 323f, something I've been wondering is how much power the standard 1.8 can handle. I'm aware that the F series gearbox in my car, being a 1997, has a "safe" limit of 180 bhp. Technically being the same engine as the MX-5, could the BP05 reach numbers like 260 bhp on stock internals? Would I need a stronger clutch once it's turbo'd and at around 180bhp?
