Does anyone know where I can buy a new water pump pulley for my 1.8 BA? Turns out that is the cause of my squealing belt. It wobbles from side to side when the car is running. If anyone knows where I can buy the original pulley from, or knows the part number, you will quite literally save my car from being sold. Many thanks.

Seems to me it may be the bearings not just the pulley. If the pulley is loose then tighten up the bolts! No good to bolt a new pulley onto knackered bearings, so I suggest a deeper investigation .... maybe a new water pump is needed.

The water pump is new. And I also found a new pulley, bought one from MX5Parts as most engine parts are shared between the 1.8 MX5 and 323f.
