If you are going for the V6 swap and turbo then do a 2.5 swap from a MX6 or Xedos9. Why bothering with the 2.0 ;)

Hmmmm are you ratting it?

have to be honest and say im not a huge fan of the rat look, but done right it can work really well so good luck with it :D

i think that look works better on older more boxy cars, like old vw golfs, mk1 fiesta's etc. i think the BA is a but to 'curvy'

definately one to watch though :salute:

Years ago I saw a Mk3 Cortina done as a matt black rat car with silver pop studs all up the side panel lines, looked really good, very Mad Max esque. I think done right and it will look good, obviously you have a plan in mind so will be interesting to see how this turns out

and... after a long absence we are back with some updates.
New rims installed again:
16" widened steelies front 8j with tyre 185/40 and rear 9j with tyre 195/40.
It looks so sexy, but now i am scrape on everything...

There was a white BA with BBS RS 16" project i think??
Can owner tells me what dimensions of tyres he used?

Those tyres look WAY too small

I'll be honest, I'm not overly keen on the look you've gone for but don't let that stop you - it's your car! :) However.... I LOVE that RX8

:tongue9:

Rims are interesting but please get some more tire on that! I'd go with 205/50-215/45...

I kinda like the stretched tires, do get some fender flares or w/e they are called to widen the fenders. That will look mad!
