Bonnet struts confirmation

I'm planning on a trip to the scrap yard tomorrow,
Can anyone confirm if it actually IS the mk4 golf boot struts that will work as bonnet struts?
If not, which ones will work please?

You can make pretty much anything work...but I bought a nice set of "made to measure" ones...less ballache and I knew they'd work :lol:

depends where you mount them

Neil used one from another car, and mounted it up onto the suspension turret. Off the shelf ones will use one of the wing mounting bolts, and will need to be the correct length, and strength...
