Hi everyone!

I'm need some help again. I have a KFDE engine in my 323F BA. Last month i purchase a J-spec KLZE (KL31 cams, KL31-1A1 heads, 10:1 comp. pistons) for swap it. After i also buy a Millenia/Xedos9 curved neck ZE manifold. I want to use this engine spec in the future.
The question is what is the best "electrical-wiring loom" setup for this engine? Naturally i want the best performance. I read a lot on clubprotage and probetalk, but i don't know which is the best. I'm not try it yet any config, because the engine is in piece But I have some part for this.
So here's the choice:

1) MX3 wiring loom + K819 ECU (K8DE) + JE50 VAF
2) MX3 wiring loom + KL36 ECU (KLZE) + JE50 VAF
3) 323F wiring loom + KF68 ECU (KFZE) + KL47 MAF (Millenia MAF)
4) 323F wiring loom + KF41 ECU (KFDE) + B6BF MAF (OEM config)

So guys. What do you think? Which give me the best peformance? Or any config?

So to clarify, are you making your kfde a frankenstein klze??? Cool!
From my understanding, you get the most out of a vaf over the maf, so thats a start.
And ofcourse the klze ecu (kl36) is the best for timing and vris points, etc.
Personally I have the klze running on kfze ecu with maf sensor- and its good, but could be better definately

Yes this KLZE is my plan. So do you think the VAF better than MAF. I'm also think the KL36/VAF combo the best. I'm read somewhere the K8 ecu also give nearly the same peformance like KL36. Can you or anybody confirm that? Because i have K8 wiring loom and K8 ecu. In Europe not easy to find KL36 ecu. It's also a little bit expensive.

In regards to the k8 ecu being as good as the kl36, all I can say is its the first time I heard of it... I can't see how it would be better then a kfze ecu. But who knows, u can be the guinea pig.

Got interested in the VAF verses MAF discussion and found this guy on FB who sells conversions for Probes/MX6.

He has a dyno reading too that shows the difference between the two and its all done with a KLDE.

Also has a conversion for OBD 1 to OBD 2.

Yeah I found that guy and thats the way I want to go with my ze. I have held back for the time being as I use my ze daily and i'm not 100% sure of the wiring differences from the mx6 323f and millenia. I can confirm that the xedos 9 with the 2.5 kl-de does pull like a train and I believe its only the weight difference between the my xedos 9 and 323f with the ze in that gives the f a little more. certainly not a 40hp difference. Plus running the xedos or millenia cpu means it can also map for boost in the future
