the OEM ones were working perfectly. More a cosmetic improvement :oops:

Well finally de striped it. Left the side ones on for now as they seem to link between the RX8 wheels quite nicely. Shame it trashed my spoiler in the process. Another job on the list for the warmer weather.
Not liking the number plate now though. Looks a bit odd. Thinking maybe a small square one in the centre at the bottom.

Lowered at last. Fitted the new lights as well. Getting there slowly
Got the short shifter but couldn't fit it. Getting some poly bushes made up for it.

Ha ha. Nice try. Sorry a rear strut brace is way down the list of things to do, after fitting my new rear bumper and spraying it, de cat and S/S exhaust, remove all air con. fit external coil, mesh the front etc etc. Al needs time and all needs money.
Anyway who needs a stiff back end. Much more fun when it starts to go away. Keeps me on my toes.

Finally got some work done.
De Cat pipe fitted.
Air Con removed
New rear brakes and uprated Mazda 6 Sport Front Discs Calipers and Pads.
New Rear Bumper Sprayed and fitted as the NTC one smashed itself to bits on the speed bumps. Looks good but now need to sort out the rest of the kit to match it.

Terrible news. So bad I'm not posting a pic :shock:

On the weekend my MX6 and my wife's 6 Sport were trashed with paint stripper. So gutted esp. as I just forked out for the new bumper to be sprayed and fitted. Even that did not escape damage. To console myself, I've agreed to buy a OH NO A FORD :roll:

Part Mazda though. Probe v6 so like an MX6. Added bonus of being fitted with a fidanza aluminum flywheel , R&R stage one clutch and cams from a ZE as well as a CAI along with other mods I don't know about yet. Pick it up next Saturday.
My wife's 6 did not fare much better but we have it well sorted now. Went for Insurance quote. Needs a respray on Roof, Bonnet, all nearside and 2 wheels. Quote for Insurance would write it off. Guy offered a cash job on the side. Respray all those panels and refurb/spray all 4 wheels for £450.
No brainer really. It means the premium will not rise next year and we don't pay £150 excess. Well happy. Not happy but you know what I mean.

Not a clue. We've upset no one. The cars are parked on a village green next to a B road in a quiet area. Just mindless idiots I guess. No hope of ever finding the culprits

My lovely MX6 went to Car Heaven yesterday. I gave it to my son as he did lots of work swapping bits over to my new car. He just drove it to the Scrap Metal Merchants and got £116 for it. What a waste. Never mind. Time to show my new car in a new thread later. Onwards and upwards.

No not rotten at all. Engine was so sweet. 104k on the clock. Sound underneath as well. Just trashed Paintwork from the vandal attack. Oh, and all the good bits had been swapped out and standard parts put back in place. Even went with the New rear bumper as well. I was annoyed with him as I thought he was going to bring it back to life but not a lot I can do about it now. The least he should have done was take it to the local breakers so people could have had bits. Now it's just headed for the crusher.
