Very nice :)

I am confused though, it probably took longer to mask up the rear lights, bump strips, number plate etc than it would have done to remove them - and it would have been a much better job :?

awesome!! :D

thats 2 4x4 323F's now!!

You might want to look at the GT4 gearbox from a toyota celica as the mazda gear boxes arent very strong, it would save you having to do all this work again!

:D

look forward to the next update!! :D

does the gearbox fit on mazda engine's? that would be great because reinforcing this one cost a lot of money.

you need to get an adaptor plate but they do exist, will need a bit of googling to track down a guy making them but its possible.

We need a stronger gearbox too, we broke ours :(

here are some new pictures from the rear axl.

Image

Image

tyre bay deleted.

Image

Image

when the reactor bars where attached, the shockes attached and wheels on the hubs
i let the car down to place the axl on the frame, then i locked it with some wood as you see.

Image

Image

the big question now is do i use the stock gearbox or the complete drivetrain of a gt-4.
well, the drivetrain of a gt-4 in holland is probably even more rare than a gtx drivetrain.
so it is going to be the stock gtx drivetrain with instead of 300+ maybe, some have the
gearbox for scrap in 2 weeks but there is someone from the gtx forum that has driven 5 years of rally
with the stock box and did some pretty good launches with it and it did not break.
so i think i am going to take the risk.
