Ok, last year we did a calendar with some success.
With help for the very talented Skylite, and Sir Andy M, we are going to do the same again, to be ready for Christmas this year!

There is a slight difference from last year, in that the pictures will be chosen by us three alone. In the nicest way, if you don't like it, tough! We just don't have the time to fart around like last year as to who's car goes where.
There will always be a difference of opinion, and we will never be able to please everybody, but that's the way it goes!


What we need is for all of you to send us your best pictures. We would ideally like seasonal ones, with good backgrounds, and a high resolution. Any of these can be emailed to me

This is open to goldies and non alike, and the cars will be a good selection of highly modified (project cars), and daily runners (that are nice and clean!)
We will also try and get a good few club pics in, so if you have some from this year's events and meets, that would be great!

Bare in mind that we will try and use summer ones for the summer, and snowy winter ones for the winter, so you can still go out and get some good pictures now!

Deadline for getting the pictures in will be November 18th. If you don't get them in by then, please don't expect them to get in at all!

Even if you think that your car may not be "worthy", that doesn't mean that you won't get into the calendar, so send them in anyway!

We haven't figured out a price just yet, but will probably be around the £10 mark, and dealt with in the club shop. All profits will go back into the club for things like the JAE marquee.

This will be, I take it, done on a group buy basis. I would recommend taking payments up front, to avoid the handful of unsold calendars, as per last year - these things don't sell all year round

As for the group buy bit, yes, we will need a number of confirmed and paid orders before we go to print. The plan is to have these shipping out to peeps a week or two before Christmas.

I think it would have been a bit more courteous to send that PM before arranging the shop staff services.....

OK, we have had quite a few nice pictures from several members, so thank you to those who have sent them to either me or Skylite!

We still need some more though, especially wintry snowy ones!
As Skylite has already mentioned, we desperately want more BG pics! Even if your car isn't 100% where you want it (let be honest, a project is never truly finished!), we want pictures! Give it a clean, go for a drive with your camera, and have some fun!

There is still two weeks before the deadline, so get to work!

thanks all for the great pictures, it was hard to choose from the amount we got, especially the summer ones as there were loads of great pics but unfortunately the calendar hasn't enough pages to put them all in, although i hope you like it.

Ok, so I now have the prices for bit an A3 and A4 version. The A3 is obviously more, and postage will be a bit due to the size.

I'm going to work it all out, and publish shortly.

I'm hoping to get around 40 printed in the first run, and subsequent runs will be done in blocks of 10. To pre-order, I'll set up a thread. I'll need payment upfront for these this year, as I lost out by a fair ammount last year. At this point, it won't be done through the shop.
I will hopfully have the first batch shipped well in time for Christmas

P.S. a bit thank you to Skylite for all your hard work. You have come up with a design that really covers all areas, and looks amaizeballs!
