Thats very kind of you to say Howie ;)

I live five minutes from the countryside. I really should take some better pictures out and about.

Cheers da2el ;)

My car has had starting problems the last week or so. I found one of the battery cells to be bone dry  My own fault really for not checking the levels more often

New battery fitted and she fired into life on the first turn of the key :D Thank you to Clarky for the new battery and to Alan for his help in getting the battery to me :thumbleft:

Shes now covered 173,000 miles. Ive added 17,000 of those in the two and a half years of ownership. This is quite simply the best car ive ever owned. She drives as if there is half of the milage covered :D

What was the symptoms of that mate?, was she just cranking for longer? think my battery might be getting a bit tired as it takes 5-10 seconds of cranking from a cold start

Not even cranking. It was just ticking and the starter wasn't even engaging.

Thank you ;)

The cars pretty much standard apart from the wheel colour choice but its all been done on a budget ;)

Came home from Centre Parcs in Elveden Forest last night. My body is seriously worn out but had a great weekend :D

The car now has 173,000 miles under its wheels :?

Had the paint thickness measured on my car this morning. Every panel had numerous measurments taken and there is a massive difference all over the car. Some as high as 310, some as low as 60. Quite shocking knowing what you have to play with, with regards to machining

The car was waxed about three weeks ago. All its had since is a weekly wash and after yesterdays wash and wipe down with a detailer/sealant.

Not really a sad day. Its my decision to sell up and I have my reasons as to why.

New car on the horizon that will be turned around and given the Meguiars treatment.

Plus its a turbo diesel :-)
