check oil levels now its all circulated?

i checked last night when i got in and it was pretty gud ill buy some more and top it up fully tonight

i found my camera to pc lead last night so i will upload the other photos that andy took from the weekend.

i will look at changing the spark plugs aswell i think, when she idles its quite lumpy and feels like shes missing a beat but drives perfectly otherwise :s

Have you tried adjusting the idle speed yet too? I remember you said it was a 1250 when cold, but all of mine have been nearer 1500 so maybe its just a bit to low?

i thought about it hughie but on the way home last night i kept an eye on it. when stopped at traffic lights warm she was idling pretty much spot on 750 so thats surely okay? ill post a video up tonight of what shes like and see if anybody can shed any light.

on the other hand hughie, me and andy are planning on doing the cat swap on sunday if your around?

not posted for a while or done anything since the engine change for that matter so thought id get crackin today and see if i could get the cam cover back to how it was many moons ago. Still needs alot of work but doesnt look to bad atm.

the cam cover came with the engine mate out of stuart spel's car cleanie so it was already like that if a little bit grubbier from being left and abandoned for a year or so. All ive done is try to perk it up a bit with some metal polish.

plans are in motion my friend

right then, time to get back on track with the supercharger project me thinks now that the new block is in.

Im going to get the plate and supercharger mounted onto the block again this week and look at what needs to be done to incorporate the intercooler. The patching ECU wiring loom is getting there but still needs some work and help from nathan. I might be piping the supercharger up as it was before without the intercooler for the time being seeing as it has to be on the car for JAE otherwise i will have failed and that cannot happen!!

Also need to look at the BOV and see if i can fiddle around with the outlet duration and try see if i can make it a little quieter but dont think this can be changed .

anyway ill get some pictures up soon as its on the block

LMK if you need any pics of how i ran my piping and intercooler. It was not as difficult as i figured, hardest part was mounting the cooler. Can't wait to see yours finished and installed again.

bolted the SC back up to the engine block last night seems to be more clearance between the SC and downpipe than before which is always good! HOpefully going to be looking at mounting the IC this weekend and pipework

im sure anything is possible mate, it just depends how much money you have to throw at things and exactly what you want from your ride. And also whether your willing to spend alot of time doing it yourself or whether you want to pay a garage to do things (which sucks) lol

anything is possible with know-how, money and ambition!

guess what i did today got a video to upload and get on here later on aswell, managed to adjust the bov so its not as harsh now. It looks a bit shabby with the different colour silicon and mis-matched jubilee clips i know but ill have that put right by jae

Is she running properly with the charger fitted now?

yeah i took her out for a test drive and she drives fine! still cant afford to get the ecu in and mapped yet so ill keep working on stuff for the intercooler but yeah shes running fine

Should be good when she is mapped. Is there much difference without the new map?

yeah mate definately picks up quicker!
