Ladybird's Cupra ! photo's now sorted !

I thought it was about time i showed you my Seat Leon Cupra 1.8 20v Turbo
Only 47k and full service history
As some of you may know i've had a few problems with it and so far i have :

Re-placed the MAF with a re-conditioned one
New Cambelt fitted
Front brake pads
1 new tyre
New Coil pack , fitted free by Seat !
Marc re-sealed all the doors for me as it leaked like a sieve , this is a common problem

The car is in pretty good condition for 11/12years old , there are a few bad scratches on the bottom of the drivers door and some less deep scratches running across the roof, but apart from that its good.
I washed and waxed it today , using for the very 1st time Megs carnauba wax !
Its come up ok, next i'm getting stage 1 paint cleaner and stage 2 polish.

Can't see the pics

...but Tommy does look good

Get the paint cleaner, but get the ultimate polish instead of the step 2, it's much better

Must admit I havent heard of this, had a nose on google and WOW - common aint the word. Seat need to get a grip huh :sad:

Your right, lol ! The stuff they originally used was like the cheap roll of sticky draught excluder you can get from the 99p shop, rubbish !

Very nice

I've always liked that model Leon, don't like the latest (over)styling, which a lot of modern cars are suffering from now.

Thankyou eogbaker, you did well with your new daily

Unfortunately the problems dont seemed to have stopped, i have a leak in a breather hose which is affecting the power and over the last few weeks it randomly doesn't want to start

Yesterday it took three attempts to start it and on the third attempt it went mental and started revving-up to about 3500revs all by itself :shock:

After it did this 3-4 times it settled down and drove home fine

hmmmmm that could be a faulty sensor but not sure which one.... and yeah if the breather is connected into the intake manifold you would loose power because of it
