The cam cover isn't perfect but its a damm sight better than it was! really happy with how the engine bay looks now, probably change some nuts and botls with less rustry versions at some point in the future.

It's not easy to put an gtr in a ba, i can tell because i'm building an gtx in my BA.

no it's not very easy at all!

The g-series box is holding up fine but we'd like to add an LSD in the future.

i'm not stuck
the biggest problem was the wiringloom butt with 5 days of hard work i fired up the engine.

only used the workshopsmanual from the BA and from the GTR (is the same as the gtx with the wiringloom)

i didn't cut into the orignal wiringloom . i just made an extension with on the one side the "male" connectors from the BA and the "female" connectors of the BG.

only cut the fusebox connector and soldert an BA connector on it.

toke 5 whole days the wiringloom butt the engine runs after that so i was very happy

the only "problem" now is money
still need a frontmountintercooler and piping.
and i need a new radiator because i wrecked mine

GTR manuals can be found online mate - if you havent got it i think i got it saved on my comp somewhere

I also got BA workshop manuals in my office

i have got the gtr manual from a forummember in pdf.
and got the BA also in pdf and the dutch paper version.

hopefully it wont be long before i can start boosting

i used the most simple meter because i don't want to have 1500 colors in my car. dont want a show car. just want a car that can outrun that suit in the BMW/mercedes/audi @ the trafficlight

and this ones are pure funtional just the way i like it

in holland they only cost 25euro a piece because they are simple.

Still not finished they're just balancing in place we still need to fix them to the bumper and edge them so its not sharp edges!


Today we plugged my laptop into the USB port that i fitted to the dash which is connected to the ECU... i can get real time readouts!!!!!!:


there's probably much more i can do with this now its connected but for one i dont want to mess with Thor's map and two i don't know how to use the program properly yet!

so what will you be able to do once you figure the program out? Are you able to store more than one map on it so you can change it say from a normal road going map to a performance map?

well i saw launch control ECU settings
we already have 2 maps set one at 0.6 bar and another at 1.2 bar
i can set alarms and limits to pretty much any signal
i will also be able to data log which should be good fun for track days!

@ Zangas, it is pretty cool! if you invest in a stand alone engine management system then you could! and it would be a damm good power upgrade!

good work with the front end chaps! shame the side mesh isnt the same as the middle. looking good though

the mesh in the middle is expensive and horrible to work with!
but the sides match the far sides and side skirts so it the middle that doesnt match
but bigger open area and more air flow and all that
