Hiya, Sabby here.

I have a 1994 red 323f in members cars and now own a 1994 black 323f (pictures to be uploaded). The black one has a gemini 1160 alarm and the thing works ok but the red button on the fob appears to do nothing and the siren has a keylock that is turned to off so although the flashers and immobiliser work, there is no sound. I have tried to pick the key barrel of the siren (spent 3 hours last night after watching many teanagers on you tube show me how to pick their bedroom door locks and to make spanners and pickers from bobby pins!) but I still cannot turn it. (was brought up on the right side of the street ;)
I took the siren apart, hoping to short the two wires to the barrel together but it is a 3-pole switch (3 wires)
Can anyone help me to get the siren switched on, or have a wiring diagram for this alarm, or have a 10 year old that can pick locks?

Hugs everyone
Sarah (46yr old female)

Ok, Think I have it, replace rotary switch with linear 2 pole, 2 way or 1 pole 2 way doesn't matter. Just hope alarm doesn't reset when each wire is removed and resoldered. Gulp...

Hi all,

I managed to disconnect the battery and the Horn and battery backup assembly without the whole alarm going into lock down. I replaced the key switch by soldering in an old 2 pole voltage selector switch (220/110) and now 110v setting is alarm horn sounder off and 220v is alarm horn sounder on. It is great to hear the alarm going off now when I leave the sunroof open and the wind trigers the transducers, but the neighours aren't too impressed he he
