Cheers Nick,

thought I would add this latest little colour-coding detail, which I completed a few weeks back,
got a new pair of headlight protectors for my birthday in April, and decided to paint the clips

Did have to do a little wet-sanding again to be happy with the finish, from the "lumpy" left to the sanded and polished right:

Image

Any excuse for a reflection, even a blurred one

Image

Fitted now, the colour is not too clear on this pic, but I liked how the photo turned out. ;)

Image

Plenty of things still to do, to get ready for my first ever Japfest :D ..............must start polishing her again ;)

great to see you yesterday Howie, the car is looking even more amasing! The sills look great. As I said on the day, I think sill mods make such a difference the originals are large plastic things which great you each time you enter or leave the car.

She is just so beautiful Howie :thumbright:

Think i might have to do my wheel well also :)

Shame we only have those stupid wheels in there but

If i have enough silver spray left i'm gonna do the space saver, at least it won't look quite so bad as the yellow colour when you lift the mat up :D

I've never liked the colour of the spacesaver. What on earth possessed them to make them that colour :dontknow:

At least it wouldn't be quite so embarrasing having to put it on if at least the colour matched

Nothing new for the car...........but last week we (I) bought a new digital camera.
Worked out that my original Fuji is now 8 yrs old and with only 2 MP,
seeing the difference in picture quality on my daughters new 4MP camera we decided to buy a new one.
Another Fuji, this time a S2500HD with 12.2 MP and lots of new functions and settings to confuse me.

Here are a few pics from last week, outside my garage:

Image

Then tried the full zoom function from the same spot, amazed by the quality :thumbright:

Image

Last night, after shutting our shop, I gave the F a dust with a body brush, then quick detail on fingermarks etc.

Tried to find a new spot on the farm for a few pics:

Image

Image

Down by our back barns:

zoomed in:

One of my favourites, with reflections in the numberplate too: ;)

And a last one from my drivers door:

Image

Very pleased with the new toy :D

Quick update, been doing a bit more painting.............on a larger scale this time. ;)

Tucked my F up under her cover in our second garage and spent a couple of evenings sealing and painting my garage floor. :D
Used a couple of tins of heavy duty grey floor paint from Screwfix.

Image

Inside the garage:

Image

I also received a set of blue coated headlight covers from Awaters and tried them on.

.......must admit I'm not so sure with how they look on my F, they are a great colour and looked good on Andy lovely silver F.

But I'm still undecided on them on my darker coloured one, think I prefer them clear :dontknow:
