I couldn't remove the fixing screws off the gill today stupid car!

Mines werent keen either - wd40 and patience mate...

lol! i recked a headlight getting one of they little bas....erding screws off lol.

But if all goes will i have have 2 special headlights on route!

Also marcas i havent had chance to mesure it yet but will envncually.

If anyone has any calipers, it'd be a good idea to measure all the dimensions and jot them down before fitting it so you could get some more fabricated here in the UK for a fraction of the price it costs to get them from overseas.

Joe and Marcus.. have you both been supping the same crazy juice? Headlights and calipers? or is it me, am I missing something?

Wd is my next step thing is Ive had the original grill over twice no problem, now I want to take this fiberglass one off it wont budge.

Calipers as in the measuring device, not the brake related sort!

From what I can see in the photos, these grills / brackets are just some sheet alu. that has been lasered and then folded to shape?
Could easily re-produce those over here in the UK for much less, hence I said for someone to measure one with calipers prior to fitting.

lol errnee, The screw your talking about, on the pfl, screw into the headlights, so i tred to get them of and the top bracket the screw goes into broke off lol.

But to fix it i need a new headlight lol

Tighten the screw up a bit first, to loosen off the bite it has


marcus, I understood, and to be honest I could whack one on the 3 axis CNC Co-ordinate measuring machine, and then draw it in solid works, and then pass it to a metalwork company...but I could have done that with the Apex1R version that I have had on my car for a couple of years...

If you can find me 10 more buyers, it would be worth my while...but I can't sell the last 2 I have of these yet

Mine are tight, and everytime I take it off the screws seem to have tightened themselves up again...better than falling out I suppose

I still have 2 of these available, they fit well, and do improve the airflow over the radiator, which reduces coolant temperature. Ok, so that last bit might not actually be true, but they look awesome

If I get no more interest I might stick one on ebay, but I'd rather keep these little beauties in the club
