Surprisingly about the same buddy, the last DVD head unit i had was rubbish for sound but this one is quite similar to the alpine.

Right just ordered another MOD and picking it up tomorrow. so its now:

1 x ICE mod done
2 x handling/styling mods (recieved one and picking up other on friday)
1 x performance mod (got it but need to fit it for under the bonnet)
1 x performance/styling mod (ordering it on the 22nd)
1 x styling mod (in transit just now)

:D Happy days, lot of money spent but i would have had coilovers if the wife hadnt crashed the car, 250 excess had to be paid :(

For what I'm glad is that you have 1.5 engine and I'm hungered to hear some fresh and realistic ideas how to increase performance :evil4:

Got my wheel caps, primed and ready to get painted. I am going to paint them sparkle green the same as the car and then when summer comes the whole wheels are going a dark colour. Not quite black but certainly dark.

Caps as they were

As they are now primed

More pics of them painted and fitted to follow :D

3 x thin layers of cheap and nasty undercoat
2 x normal coats of 11r metallic sparkle green from fordprobestore
2 thick coats of lacquer, 1 cheap and nasty, then went out and bought an expensive more hardwearing one

Not the best of jobs, i could have sanded down the one in the top left more but as said in the above post they are only going on temporarily before i fe-furb and paint the alloys a darker nicer colour.

As i said at the top it was just a temporary as i am spraying the entire wheels black or gunmetal grey. They look silly just now but when they are all sprayed i could put a nice wee decal in the middle. Thats where i cant decide!

If you're painting with rattle cans, can I recommend Peugeot Graphite - looks lovely it does :)

Nice colour - and it goes on nice, can almost get away without a clearcoat  probably not advisable on alloys, but it does make any touch ups nice and easy ;)

clear coat is the colour steve, its a mix of black and white to make a clear colour :thumbright:

then you put that on top of your paint for a shine

try it man get some black and white paint and it'll go clear!

Looking good mate. :)

By the last one do you mean a whiteline ARB and an upper strut brace? Is that an ultra racing strut brace? It doesn't look like a whiteline.

Thanks for the comments! Howie i need your expertise to get her cleaned up!

Probably lower her this week sometime. Just 40 mm on the front and 30 mm on the back. Sticking with standard shocks at the moment as i dont want to spend too much on her. Maybe the steering wheel in the next fortnight, i have it ready to fit but have had difficulties.

The back box looks totally out of place cos the car is absolutely filthy in and out but the tips sparkle in the sun

I HATE THAT DAMNED TOW BAR. I WANT RID OF IT.
