its the part that looks like a little cone that plugs into your induction kit.

Look at the pic, see where the induction kit is, the black rectangle connected to it is the housing here the normal sensor and the temp sensor is. Look at the wires mate. Hope this helps.

is it the piggy back sensor thing you are putting into the car? The little 1k resistor?

Don't do it. Waste of time. Apparently all they do is fool your engine into thinking its running cold, therefore making it run richer in fuel. Possibly causing long term damage/unnecessary strain to the engine with next to no power increase at all ;)

But if you do decide to go for it... the air temp sensor connection goes onto the MAF (follow the group of wires between the coolant reservoir and the battery)

I would advise you not to do it, it does make a slight difference in performance but IT SLOWLY KILLS your engine. Expect about 10 to 20% of your engine life to dissapear. Its not a natural mod, if it was supposed to be like that all cars would have it as standard. As Scott says it fools the engine into thinking the air that is coming in is cold.

Yep, you can expect pitted valves at the very least from what I've been told as it make the car run rich with the timing advanced. For the small gain in performance its really not worth wrecking your engine.
