Guys,

This is probably very very simple to do, but I was wondering if anyone can tell me how to change my sidelights?

Also, what bulb is legal to put in?

It should say in your owners manual thats what I reffered to when I changed my headlight bulbs to blue xenons, im changing my side light 501 bulbs to blue ones tomorrow I dont kbnow if there legal or not. Im prettey sure you twist the socket and simply pull it back then the bulb should just pull out, the headlamp ones are covered wth a rubber cover then held in with a spring.

yeh i've already changed my headlights a few months back. just wondered if the sidelights were roughly the same.

where did you get your blue sidelight ones from?

Stick some SMD LED bulbs in. they will be pure white.

or osram do a sidelight bulb that is designed to go with the nightbreaker bulbs

Necro post. . . .

After having blue side lights in my car for the last three years, it failed it's MOT for having them this year, so it might be an idea to change them when it come to test time just in case you get a jobs worth

Stick some SMD bulbs in, the way forward.... they look ace with HIDS and look ok with my nightbreakers.

they wont fail an MOT (despite being illegal) as they show white light.
