The bonnet mod and setting up the coilovers are next . Should finish it up nicely until spring...

I got a decent amount yes, but I was left with a cracked carbon bonnet
I bought the car back yes .
The old splitter was totally knackered, hit a kerb at 25mph. Got a new splitter.

Yes Murray it was transformed from a beaten up red caravan-puller (sorry for swearing) to the black JDM thing people are used to seeing. I would bery much love to send a photo of how it looks now to the previous owner, they'd be shocked!!!

And thanks Stu! Although the paint is a bit worse for wear Black is an absolute b*****d to look after.

For those who care, I have her booked in to the local tuning garage to get a 4 wheel alignment check and lower her another 25mm, so I should finally get the perfect 'stance' that a coilovers owner deserves. Also got a quote to get some special painting done on the bonnet which I am repairing myself.

he said he liked it without the spoiler parts though when i said it had none when buying it and he watched us drive all the way down the street away he was a bit upset like, "the last time ill see it, its been a great car"

I never noticed the red grill mesh before, it looks really good with the red calipers Have you thought about tinting the front indicator/sidelight units? I reckon they'd disappear against the black bumper

I've decided to calm down with modifying and concentrate on getting her and keeping her in top condition. The looks are there I think - with regards to performance I'm gonna wait a year or so and then put a more powerful engine in...

Ah, b******s to it - it's stunning! I think the new wheels work better with the whole look, and the brilliant black is looking very clean and shiny in that pic. Black may be harder to keep nice, but you've done a top job there mate and I think it's worth it when polished up. Have always loved this car

when did you do those ms-design rear mudguard bits? prefer the std ones myself - they give a 'lower phat a**e' look

Da2el, they are "black" style indicators. Don't think anyone else on the site has these.

My next job is finishing off my bonnet and giving the paint a good clay-barring, otherwise I'm pretty happy with it really!

Just saw the pics of the meet with the passenger side wing mirror done too, they turned out wicked looking. Nice job
