Things you need:

Stainless Steel Mandrel Bends
1x 45 Degree Mandrel Bend (2.5" Diameter)
1x 90 Degree Mandrel Bend (2.5" Diameter)

Silicon Couplers
For the authentic Stephens intake you'll need to buy from this place:

You'll need:

3x 63mm Couplers (Any colour you like!)

Air filters
A breather filter is need on the rocker cover, and an air filter is needed.

Hose clips
To attach all the hoses and metal pipes you'll need some hose clips. DO NOT GET STEEL ONES. You'll need either stainless steel or some other metal that doesnt' rust.

Instructions
Attach all the pipes and couplers together as shown in the diagram. Make sure the hose clips are tight, but not too tight. Fit the air sensor to the induction tubing and the air filter you have chosen.


Make sure there is gap between the metal parts just incase they rub, small risk I know

This this induction intake is a lot stiffer than the standard one, so make a bracket that will fix onto the engine bay somewhere (engine or gearbox or something that won't move with respects to the intake when the car is running and vibrating).

I use a K&N air filter. Using the bracket they supplied I had a professional car enthusiast (Stuartspel) bend the bracket to hold it onto the gearbox mount (on the crossmember).

Once the main part is fitted, fix the breather filter to the rocker cover.

Thats about it, all is left to do is fire her up and take her for a drive. Since its a very stiff intake, just make sure it doesn't move around, and keep and eye on it for a little while.

will have a CAF at some point

use a metal bracket to hold it in place, it'll weigh too much for cable ties

you want the bracket attached to the engine or gearbox (not the engine bay)

it doens't hesitate at higher speeds now, before it did due to the cracks in the old one

its a little quieter than before (which is good as i'm gonna have a louder exhaust on soon etc), but its sounds a lot sportier

Where did you rehouse the temp sensor?

silicon is too bendable, so difficult to use with couplers.

it is a 45 degree bend yes, but indeed it looks like 135 (it is bent my 45 degrees)

air temp was rehoused in the air filter, as its a K&N for the 323F there is a special hole there

I've got a universal filter with CAF sat here waiting to go on. Im going to order some of these pipes and hoses to hook it up, but can anyone suggest how i should re house the temp sensor? (just checked and i have no special hole lol...)

This is the only thing stopping me getting this all ordered and hooked up.

drill a hole in the pipe, or in the silicone couplers, which would be easier

Mate - that pipe is the Idle Air Intake, it needs to suck air in that comes through the MAF, I drilled a hole in my induction pipe and fitted a feed from the hole to the pipe & used the other exit on the pipe for my Air Intake Temperature sensor.

as i don't have one of those, i can't really help,

but your engine might be cutting out if you haven't connected the air sensor wire into the air sensor

Went for an Apiro with CAF in the end, looks nice and from what i've gathered on here they sound good and perform well too.

Just waiting for my couplers and clips from PSH, will post pics when it's fitted
