Morning all,

Dates have been announced for Japfest2 next year. Thought I would try and get some information up as soon as possible to give people time to plan, save some pennies and have a target :)

Location
Donington Park
Castle Donington
Derby
DE74 2RP

When
Saturday 30th June 2018

Ticket Price - will update once official info is provided
Entry ticket with stand pass - £20 (current estimate based on previous years)
Track time - £35 (again estimated)

As per the previous few years we will need to book tickets direct through the Japfest website. Once information has been released, I'll be signing the club up for a stand so I'll be able to give people the club booking code.

Sad times but I now can't attend this years Japfest Donington :( A friend of mine has booked his wedding for the same day and asked us to go - how selfish! :( :( Will be gutted to miss it

really want to get to one of these unfortunately the ze's progress is very slow and its mot is due just 2 weeks before this (not entirely hopeful of a pass) would anyone mind if I booked a place but ended up coming in the rx8?

This is my completion target so I'll confirm closer to the date but everything is going to plan.
I was a bit useless with the club last year so I'm going to make a massive effort this year.

Yeah it'll be good to put some faces to names, I've just booked into days Inn at the airport. Only £46 for the Friday night for both me and my youngest son.

Club ticket booking deadline has been extended to 11th of June at midday. Get your tickets pronto if you want to attend with the club :thumbleft:

I've just had a phone call with a rather attractive sounding bird at Kelsey Media, about the usual lack of tickets running up to the event. In summary, there have been some "unexpected" delays with sorting the tickets (They're not unexpected, there have been delays every single year for both Japfest events since they took over...), but they're hoping to send them out by Thursday at the latest.

For those of you who won't be able to print them in time, I'm told you can bring digital copies on your phone/tablet/PDA/laptop/desktop/TV/jumbotron to be scanned on the way in - as long as it shows the barcode, you're fine.

If you can't get digital copies in time, as long as you've got the confirmation email, there is a ticket collection option on site (no clue where that'll be, but the gate staff should tell you), where you can go, shout at some morons and get them to sort your tickets there and then.
