just a quick question, possibly been asked before...

i have the Meguire's Water Magnet Towel which i use to give the car a going over after every wash, however, it seems that it water magnetness is starting to wane a little. Will i be able to just pop it in the wash with the rest of general clothes washing, or will fabric conditioner etc affect it?

Thanks

Im pretty sure this point was raised about washing microfibre towels and all thats jazz at the meguiars seminar we went to a few years ago. I think im right in remembering they said to wash them on a high heat wash was no coniditioner as daz already said :)

Ive seen some people on the net add white vinegar to there wash to bring back the 'fluffyness' lol

Correct, never use conditioner (you shouldn't use it on towels really either despite the ads with big fluffy ones) as it stops the fibres being so absorbent.

I use a bit of white vinegar in the conditioner slot in the machine, and use a 90 degree wash for applicators, cloths, etc :)

And then I do a 90 deg wash and throw all my white vinegar and orange essence in it to try to clear the petrol smell out of the washing machine :x :(
