Morning folks. Thought I'd share one of the 1st pics of my new toy! A WRX STI! I had a classic WRX before and it was amazing and I knew from the first time I saw a new style WRX STI that I wanted one and that it'd be a matter of time. Turns out Saturday was that time! Bought from a dealer down past Glasgow but I didn't stretch it's legs too much on the way back up the road despite the temptation! Car is completely standard (as you'd expect having only had it for a few days) but the mod list includes front and rear splitter and stainless steel exhaust finishers. Possibly wind deflectors. Undecided on them thus far! But nothing 3rd party/after-market will be added. Only genuine STi additions. The good thing about having a car that's not 20+ years old is that I can still get parts for it! Custom mates and boot liner already ordered. Will try and keep the originals pristine. 2.5l Turbo with approx 300bhp.

Haha Stu next time there's a meet I could be tempted! Might just be the two of us though! Unless we can get Jason down the road in his Scoob and Neil along in his.. whatever it is he's got these days! Feels like only yesterday we had about 8 Fs at every meet! I don't plan on thrashing the tits of it constantly so hopefully the pistons hold up! Still waiting for some sunny weekend weather (as the car is living at my old man's place for the time being) but nonetheless I took a few more pics:

Definitely more smiles per gallon than the Civic! And no fires so far! Only done about 250 miles so far though. I'd love to take this thing to JAE. Not sure if I'll be able to attend this year though. Will have to wait and see!

At first glance thought it was a Lancer, then realised I fallen behind the times - never knew a newer shape was out, at last since the first one came out there is a good looking WRX Great colour too

My sister (who's an Evo fan) wanted me to buy a white one "because it would look more like an Evo" which is maybe true but it's not an Evo so I didn't choose the Evo colour.
