i have bought myself a 2003 seat leon cupra T 180

if that has the audi 1.8 20valve turbo engine then it is very easily tuned. I raced in a corrado with the same engine. It was pushing 380hp and only things that were changed to get that hp was:- exhaust, turbo IHI VF34, chipped, intercooler, injectors and lightened flywheel. its a lot of gain for very little done and seeing as the engine comes standard with a forged bottom end you dont have to do anything to the internals unless you are wanting to go over 400hp

im currently looking at AGU engines.. (the big port forged bottom end but 150bhp standard) theyre easily brought up past the BAM engines (small ports cast parts but 225bhp due to the ko4s turbo) so yes the less powerful are better on high tune than the others (the powerful ones just have vvt for emissions that gets sacked off anyway) aha you can get a 225 up to 300 without internal mods but a 150 to 400 without internals aha
