Hey all, signed up here for info and lurking. Picked up a clean 1.5 323F BA yesterday (44k on the clock, no advisories on the recent MOT, no rust etc), and so happy; one of those cars where you grin while driving it for sure.

Initial goals are to get rid of the bump strips, and replace the tape deck with something capable of at least taking an AUX input. From there... not sure. Considered lowering for example, but if I did it'd only be a small drop to get rid of some of that horrendous arch gap. Theres also a ratty old sticker on the back bumper that needs to come off, hopefully with minimal paint work damage.

What a lovely looking example, looks like it just came out of the factory!

Just my 2c worth but perhaps keep the bump strips unless they're ratty- I think they break up the rather slab-sided doors and the black matches well with the rest of the black/grey/silver of the car.

44k, what do owners do, drive it round the block once a month? No, must be just out of the garage and back

Actually, if it's like mine- which I 'inherited' from my father who drove it a 3.8km loop to the shops and back once a week- expect the exhaust to be rotted out.

Cheers guys! Exhaust does sound a bit raspy but I haven't had a proper look under yet, potentially a bit scared to in case I see nothing but brown

From what I gather, the previous owner (and only owner) kept it in the garage for the most part so thats something at least!
